Praxis order CyScan® XT sensors

The Russian Nevsky shipyard in Shlisselburg, Russia is to build four light multipurpose small-draught salvage Ice Breaker vessels, all of which will be installed with Guidance Marine's CyScan XT sensors. The CyScan XT system is an extreme low temperature -40ºC variant of the standard sensors. Designed for Ice and Arctic operations, the XT sensors enjoy all the functionality and operational benefits of the conventional laser reference technology but have been designed to operate in Ice and Arctic operations. 

Delivery of these vessels, known as 'Project MPSV12' are for the Russian state authorities and will be in service at Russia’s Astrakhan, Arkhangelsk, Novorossiysk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky ports.
