Guidance has been identified as one of the companies in London Stock Exchange’s 2015, “1000 companies to inspire Britain” report. The report is an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.

As well as identifying 1,000 companies, the annual report examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the UK economy. Launching the report, Business Secretary Vince Cable said: “These 1,000 exemplary businesses show how SMEs punch above their weight – more than doubling their revenue over the past four years to deliver growth and create jobs across the UK. The Government is backing innovative and ambitious companies like these to grow and export their products all over the world and I wish them continued success for the future.”

Guidance has won the Queen's Award for Enterprise twice - the second time in 2014, the same year that it was recognised by HSBC's Global Connections 2014 competition as one of the UK's most innovative and forward-thinking companies. Today, the business exports nearly 90% of what it manufacturers from its facility in Leicester to key markets in Europe, Asia, Middle East and the Americas.

"Our key value is that we're driven by our customers' requirements and we're committed to deliver reliability, quality and durability in our products from the first R&D activity to after-sales service"
  Jan Grothusen, Chief Executive Officer
