New Type Approval for CyScan and Mini RadaScan

August News

Based on positive results collected from the recent survey and extensive testing carried out in the presence of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Guidance has received the type approval for both CyScan Mk4 and Mini RadaScan. These two sensors have been officially certified to operate at temperatures as low as -25ºC.

While current oil reserves are coping with increased pressure from emerging markets in China and India, the Arctic is seen as being of crucial importance. Giving the rising world demand for fossil fuels only time will tell whether the exploration of oil and gas within Arctic climates is sustainable. Guidance's Extreme Temperarture (XT) range harnesses all the capabilities and operational benefits of the conventional sensors and has been designed to operate in ice and Arctic conditions.
